A three-day workshop with women from Armenia and Turkey started today in Yerevan, Armenia. 16 women from Armenia and Turkey discussed possible areas of cooperation and cross-border initiatives, which ranged from cultural issues to common practices in empowering women in business though joint efforts.
The workshop was a part of the project "Support to Armenia-Turkey Rapprochement (SATR) ", supported by USAID and implemented through a common effort of Project Consortium members: ICHD, Eurasia Partnership Foundation, Yerevan Press Club and UMB(E)A.
More than twenty representatives of civil society institutions and think tanks, private businesses and development partners participated in the off-the-record discussion.

From 2 September to 2 November 2012, with the support from the UN Population Fund and in close cooperation with the RoA Government the International Center for Human Development completed the International Conference on Population and Development Beyond 2014 survey questionnaire. Within the framework of that undertaking, consultative and focus group meetings with competent State bodies, civil society organizations and private companies were held and a desk review was conducted.
