2011

The goal of the project was to ensure an effective participatory process and support consolidation of outputs provided by technical contributors of each specific section of the comprehensive national decentralization strategy, a draft document meant to direct the reform process.

2013

The project implemented in 2013 with the support of the Counterpart International aims at contributing to the sustainable development of civil society organizations (CSO) through harmonization of the relevant legislation to the current needs of CSOs and the changing social, political and economic environment. Within the framework of the project a new bill on civil society organizations has been drafted with the active involvement of the major stakeholders of the project, specifically the RA Ministry of Justice, RA National Assembly, a number of civil society organizations and other representatives of the civil society. The new bill offers solutions to a number of issues related to the specifics of the management and activities of civil society organizations. It has been presented to the RA Ministry of Justice for further circulation and discussion.

2011

The project was implemented in 2011 with the support of Counterpart International Armenia. The goal was to develop comprehensive and consensual recommendations for improving policy, regulatory and institutional frameworks that would enable further progressive development of civil society in Armenia. The project team emphasized the necessity of facilitating an inclusive process of generating and analyzing various alternatives of such frameworks by engaging all key stakeholders in government, civil society and development partners. Towards this goal, ICHD carried out needs assessment, organized four OTRs and developed subsequent policy papers.

“Green light” for environmentally neutral business development from Lisbon to Vladivostok

On March 3, 2021, the first meeting of the GreenDeal Task Force created under the Initiative Lisbon-Vladivostok was held. In the videoconference format, more than twenty authoritative experts in the field of ecology and business from Austria, Armenia, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, Russia, France, as well as the representatives of the largest business industry associations supporting the Initiative Lisbon-Vladivostok, discussed common approaches to harmonizing the activities implemented by the EU and the EAEU on the path to sustainable development, including a radical reduction in greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere by 2050.
