On June 19 ICHD invited a round table to discuss how the activities of municipal councilors could be improved. The discussion was held within the framework of the project "Supporting improvement of the activities of municipal councilors through development and introduction of sample templates of legal acts to be adopted and ratified by municipal councilors", implemented with the support of Counterpart International. 

ICHD expert Armen Galstyan participated in expert group meeting in the Counterpart International office in Yerevan.

On June 12 ICHD hosted the US Ambassador John A. Heffern. The Ambassador was introduced to the ICHD activities in more detail, and a number of foreign policy issues were discussed, such as US-Armenian, Armenian-Turkish relations, and the Nagorno Karabakh issue.

On June 4 ICHD Executive Director Tevan Poghosyan had a meeting with Ambassador Peter Mares, Special Envoy for the Eastern Partnership, Mr.  Petr Vagner, Executive Director of Visegrad Fund, Mr. Ivan Jestrab, Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Georgia and Mr. Petr Mikyska, Charge d'affaires of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Yerevan.

On June 1 ICHD, in corporation with IOM, organized a training session for the representatives of private employment agencies.

On May 22 ICHD team met with  Ms. Rhodia Maas, General Managing Director of the Repatriation  and  Departure Service of the Netherland.

Օn the occasion of Europe Day the European Union Delegation to Armenia organized an open-air public celebration in Yerevan on May  12.

Twenty representatives of civil society institutions and think tanks, private businesses and development partners participated in the off-the-record discussion, where a recent analysis of the RA state budget relative to the demographic strategy paper of the country was presented and relevant policy recommendations were made. The results will be consolidated in a policy brief.

A wrap-up joint networking meeting with participation of  three working groups  from Turkey and Armenia took place  on April 18 in Best Western Congress Hotel. The participants discussed the ways of future cooperation between the two countries with the involvement of women, political, business  and civil society young leaders from Turkey and Armenia. 

On April 16 Arthur Martirosyan represented ICHD at the “Migration and Sustainable Development” seminar held in the UN Headquarter, New York. The seminar aimed to explore the role of migration in the context of the UNCSD-Rio+20 and the provisions of the "zero draft" of the outcome document of the conference.
