Joint Networking Meeting between Leaders in Various Sectors from Turkey and Armenia

A three-day joint networking meeting of political, business and civil society leaders from Turkey and Armenia launched today in "Ani Plaza" Hotel in Yerevan. Eighteen participants from Armenia and Turkey discussed issues related to cross-border cooperation and possibilities of joint initiatives.
The networking meetings are part of the project "Support to Armenia-Turkey Rapprochement (SATR) ", supported by USAID and implemented through a common effort of Project Consortium members: ICHD, Eurasia Partnership Foundation, Yerevan Press Club and UMB(E)A.

Joint Workshop in Charentsavan, Kotayk
ICHD is currently implementing a project "Strengthening local capacities for local democracy in Armenia through institutionalizing effective and equal public participation in local decision making", which is part of a larger project "Promoting Equal Rights and Equal Opportunities in Armenia: Women in Local Democracy". The whole project is funded by the European Union and implemented by UNDP Armenia in partnership with Ministry of Territorial Administration and ICHD.

Global Survey: ICPD Beyond 2014
From 2 September to 2 November 2012, with the support from the UN Population Fund and in close cooperation with the RoA Government the International Center for Human Development completed the International Conference on Population and Development Beyond 2014 survey questionnaire. Within the framework of that undertaking, consultative and focus group meetings with competent State bodies, civil society organizations and private companies were held and a desk review was conducted.
