A wrap-up joint networking meeting with participation of three working groups from Turkey and Armenia took place on April 18 in Best Western Congress Hotel. The participants discussed the ways of future cooperation between the two countries with the involvement of women, political, business and civil society young leaders from Turkey and Armenia. The participants had an opportunity to meet with the USAID mission director in Armenia Dr. Jatinder Cheema, who welcomed the joint efforts and initiatives of the both the working groups and other involved organizations. The event was organized by ICHD, UMBA and GAYA as part of "Support to Armenia-Turkey Rapprochement (SATR) " project , supported by USAID and implemented through a common efforts of Project Consortium members: ICHD, Eurasia Partnership Foundation, Yerevan Press Club and UMB(E)A.
ICHD is currently implementing a three year project "Strengthening local capacities for local democracy in Armenia through institutionalizing effective and equal public participation in local decision making", which is part of a larger project "Promoting Equal Rights and Equal Opportunities in Armenia: Women in Local Democracy".

From 2 September to 2 November 2012, with the support from the UN Population Fund and in close cooperation with the RoA Government the International Center for Human Development completed the International Conference on Population and Development Beyond 2014 survey questionnaire. Within the framework of that undertaking, consultative and focus group meetings with competent State bodies, civil society organizations and private companies were held and a desk review was conducted.
