ICHD Executive Director participated in Official Ceremony of the Contract Signing on the Establishment of the Regional Master Programme in Human Rights and Democratization.

ICHD hosted Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum Armenian National Platform Working Group's 3rd meeting.

ICHD Executive Director participated in a meeting organized by the Asian Development Bank, held in Yerevan, 4th October 2010.

The first Draft of the National Action Plan for Combating Gender-based Violence in Armenia for 2011-2015 has been elaborated by the Working Group of the Interagency Commission on Combating GBV in Armenia in mid-October 2010.

Over 230 men, high school students, university students, teachers, medical doctors and NGO leaders, as well as refugees in Vanadzor, Akhuryan, Kapan, Spitak, Khadjaran, Gyumri and Yerevan participated in 11 one-day awareness raising meetings on gender based violence and its consequences facilitated by  Armenian Association of Women with University Education (AAWUE) in late September 2010  in the framework of the UNFPA/Armenia funded project implemented by the ICHD led Consortium against Gender-based Violence in Armenia.

In an attempt to provide a platform for utilizing democratic values, ICHD brought together young analysts and researchers with sound academic backgrounds to share their ideas and establish a lively discourse of polemics.

Thirty-nine  women exposed to the risk of gender-based violence  have received a special training in the framework of the UNFPA/Armenia funded project implemented by the ICHD led Consortium against Gender-based Violence in Armenia in late September.

ICHD representatives participated in the meeting held in the framework of the European Partnership for the Peaceful Settlement of the Conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh in Tbilisi, on 26-28 September.

ICHD partners with Conflict Management Institute (CMI) in the framework of the initiative of the European NGOs Working in Partnership for Peace on the European Partnership for the Peaceful Settlement of the Conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh (EPNK).

ICHD Executive Director participated in the workshop Paving the Road Towards Visa-Free Travel Between the Eastern Partnership Countries and the EU, held in Istanbul, 23-25 September 2010.
