ICHD's Executive Director Tevan Poghosyan participated  as one of the key speakers in ALDE Armenia Day in the European Parliament in Brussels on 9 June 2010.

The founding meeting of the National Platform of European Union's Eastern Partnership program  with the participation of the 136 representatives out of 145 member organizations was held with the support of the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) in Congress Hotel  on 7 June, 2010.

The representatives of the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen (Employers) of Armenia (UMB(E)A), Yerevan Press Club (YPC), "Eurasia" Partnership Foundation and International Center for Human Development (ICHD)  that signed the Memorandum of Cooperation on Regulation of Armenian-Turkish relations  discussed practical issues of cooperation on June 5 at ICHD.

On 3 June ICHD experts and the representatives of Ameria Bank and the Board of Trustees of  Financial System Mediator have discussed the issues related to the joint initiative of ICHD and IOM on developing and introducing better financial guarantees for migrant workers and their families.

ICHD and other leading local non-governmental organizations in Armenia ring the bell on the arrest of the reporter and photographer for local “Haykakan Zhamanak” Ani Gevorgyan.

On 1 June ICHD experts and leaders of International Organization of Migration and State Service of Migration, as well as representatives of respective service of Yerevan Municipality discussed the issues related to the joint initiative of ICHD and IOM on supporting migrant workers and their families, development of the capacities of private  employment agencies, as well as the issues of streamlining the migration  management framework of Armenia with EU acquis and European standards.

On 31 May ICHD experts and the representatives of the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen (Employers) of Armenia (UMB(E)A) and the Ministry of Education and Science of RA discussed the issues related to the joint initiative of ICHD and IOM on supporting migrant workers and their families, development of the capacities of private  employment agencies as key actors in labor migration, as well as the issues of streamlining the migration  management framework of Armenia with EU acquis and European standards.

On the eve of the Day of the Republic the International Center for Human Development celebrated its 10th anniversary with hundreds of its partners on May 27, 2010.

Twenty four representatives of the government, civil society institutions and think tanks, private businesses and development partners participated in the Off-the-Record discussion on "Financial Guarantees for Sustainability of Civil Society Institutions" at ICHD on 21 May, 2010.
