ICHD staff met with the Eun Joo Allison Yi and Ann Iren Glimsdal of Norsk Energi (Norway) on 4 May, 2010. They have discussed opportunities of future cooperation.


ICHD Executive Director met with Ms. Jatinder K. Cheema, USAID/Armenia Mission Director on 30 April 2010. They have discussed emerging challenges and opportunities for Armenian society in dynamic global environment including issues of regional cooperation, civil society development,  good governance and domestic violence. ICHD's Tevan Poghosyan briefed the current initiatives of the think tank to the head of the leading development partner in Armenia.


ICHD core staff met with Regional Conflict Advisor for South Caucasus, British Embassy, Georgia Ms. Kate White on April 29, 2010. They have discussed the course of the project "The Resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh Issue: What Do Societies Have to Say?" implemented by the ICHD and its Azerbaijani partner Youth for the Development  NGO. The project is sponsored by the UK's Global Conflict Prevention Pool.


The leaders of the Union of Manufacturers and  Businessmen (Employers) of Armenia (UMB(E)A), Yerevan Press Club (YPC),  "Eurasia" Partnership Foundation and International Center for Human Development  (ICHD) signed Memorandum of Cooperation on Normalizing Armenian-Turkish  relations on April 26, 2010.

The seminar "Men Talking to Men" on the role and responsibility of thirty men in combating gender based violence organized by UNFPA on 14-18 April 2010, in Tbilisi, brought together men of various age and profession. All of them had one thing in common. They are all committed to combat violence through speaking out the problem and encouraging other men to mobilize in action against violence.

“Green light” for environmentally neutral business development from Lisbon to Vladivostok

On March 3, 2021, the first meeting of the GreenDeal Task Force created under the Initiative Lisbon-Vladivostok was held. In the videoconference format, more than twenty authoritative experts in the field of ecology and business from Austria, Armenia, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, Russia, France, as well as the representatives of the largest business industry associations supporting the Initiative Lisbon-Vladivostok, discussed common approaches to harmonizing the activities implemented by the EU and the EAEU on the path to sustainable development, including a radical reduction in greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere by 2050.

Town Hall Meeting within ACE in Vayk

On January 30, 2024 ICHD organized the first Town Hall Meeting within ACE in Vayk consolidated community, comprising 17 rural and urban settlements, in close collaboration with the local government, "Solution Hub" NGO and their beneficiaries, active young people from the community. The results are summarized in the THM report available in Armenian only.
