In the framework of  "Strengthening local capacities for local democracy in Armenia through institutionalizing effective and equal public participation in local decision making" project ICHD organized a series of  one and three day trainings in Artashat city, Ararat region.

International Center for Human Development (ICHD), in partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and with the financial support of the EU, continues the implementation of the “Strengthening Evidence-Based Management of Labor Migration in Armenia” project.

On the 17th of September, 2013, the International Center for Human Development (ICHD) held a roundtable discussion on “Issues of Assistance to Migrants and their Families on the Agenda of Cooperation between Communities in Armenia and Europe: Constraints and Opportunities”.

On the 13th of September, 2013 International Center for Human Development held a Steering Committee Meeting in order to officially present the skills-based labour force ULISSES Platform to the stakeholders in government, private sector and civil society.

ICHD has been included in the world's Top Thirty Transparency and Good Governance Think Tanks, according to the Global Go To Think Tanks Report, 2012 "THINK TANKS AND CIVIL SOCIETY PROGRAM" released on January 28, 2013 by International Relations Program University of Pennsylvania.

In the framework of  "Strengthening local capacities for local democracy in Armenia through institutionalizing effective and equal public participation in local decision making" project ICHD organized a CoP meeting in Hankavan.  The meeting took place on 19-21 of July. 

ICHD is currently implementing a three year project "Strengthening local capacities for local democracy in Armenia through institutionalizing effective and equal public participation in local decision making", which is part of a larger project "Promoting Equal Rights and Equal Opportunities in Armenia: Women in Local Democracy".

The whole project is funded by the European Union and implemented by UNDP Armenia in partnership with Ministry of Territorial Administration and ICHD.

Օn the occasion of Europe Day the European Union Delegation to Armenia organized an open-air public celebration in Yerevan on May  25.
