More than twenty representatives of civil society institutions and think tanks, private businesses and development partners participated in the off-the-record discussion.

ICHD is currently implementing a project  "Strengthening local capacities for local democracy in Armenia through institutionalizing effective and equal public participation in local decision making", which is part of a larger project "Promoting Equal Rights and Equal Opportunities in Armenia: Women in Local Democracy". The whole project is funded by the European Union and implemented by UNDP Armenia in partnership with Ministry of Territorial Administration and ICHD.

In the framework of  "Strengthening local capacities for local democracy in Armenia through institutionalizing effective and equal public participation in local decision making" project ICHD organized a series of  one and three day trainings in Ashtarak city, Aragatsotn region.

On 3 May 2013, on the initiative of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the RA National Assembly parliamentary hearings on “The Presidency of the Republic of Armenia in the Council of Europe” were held. The President of the RA Constitutional Court, the RA Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, NA Deputies, representatives of international organizations and various NGOs took part in the hearings.

Armenian Atlantic Association (AAA) together with its youth branch Armenian Youth Atlantic Association (AYAA) will host a youth conference “The Black Sea Region:  Bringing future decision makers together in the changing world”, to take place in Yerevan, on 14-15 March, 2013.
