Experts having an experience in policy analysis, policy monitoring, policy advice and legislation analysis and legislation drafting for gender, reproductive rights and reproductive health, international trade, energy security, civil military control, public education, public health projects, are particularly encouraged to apply.

Since 2014, ICHD in partnership of the UNFPA-Armenia and with the support of USAID has been implementing the project “Community Awareness Raising Campaign throughout Armenia” (CARCATA). The project is implemented in close cooperation with the Ministry of Health of RA, and regional administrations. CARCATA’s goal is to raise the knowledge of the Armenians countrywide on proper reproductive health care and use of modern methods of contraception. The project is designed to influence the current perceptions and use of modern contraceptives, and to address social issues that affect contraceptive behavior. It strives to provide accurate information about the benefits of family planning for women, their children, and their families in the framework of a larger UNFPA/USAID project on “Promoting Contraceptive Security in Armenia”.

An Estonian think tank, Praxis Center for Policy Studies (http://praxis.ee) implements the project “Advancement of the advocacy and participation capacity of the Armenian civil society organizations” with the financial support of the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and administrative assistance from ICHD. Within the framework of the project a series of seminars on advocacy, networking and influencing policy making will be organized, as well as a study visit to Praxis.
On January 30, 2024 ICHD organized the first Town Hall Meeting within ACE in Vayk consolidated community, comprising 17 rural and urban settlements, in close collaboration with the local government, "Solution Hub" NGO and their beneficiaries, active young people from the community. The results are summarized in the THM report available in Armenian only.
