International Center for Human Development (ICHD) is inviting qualified applicants to participate in a Secondment from Armenian Private Employment Agencies (PEAs) to EU-based PEA (Host) according to the Terms of References below.

ICDH is looking for three local experts for the following short-term consultancy under the “Strengthening Evidence Based Management of Labour Migration in Armenia” (SEBMLM) Project funded by the European Union.

The Call for Applications is part of the project “The Role of Civil Society in EU integration processes: real engagement though effective involvement” supported by International Visegrad Fund. 

The Call for Applications is part of the “Support to Armenia-Turkey Rapprochement” project supported by USAID. The project is jointly implemented by a Consortium of four organizations: Eurasia Partnership Foundation (EPF), Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia (UMBA), International Center for Human Development (ICHD), and Yerevan Press Club (YPC) in cooperation with a number of key Turkish partners including: the Global Political Trends Center, the Turkish-Armenian Business Development Council, Anadolu Kültür, GAYA research institute, the Media and Communications Department of Izmir University of Economics, Toplum Gönüllüleri Vakfi, the Turkish Economic and Social Studies Foundation, and the Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey.

ABOUT PROJECT: The Umbrella Information Support System for Employment Services (ULISSES) is a sub-component of the larger “Strengthening Evidence-Based Management of Labor Migration in Armenia” jointly implemented by ICHD (International Center for Human Development) and IOM (International Organization for Migration).

The topic will cover the areas: (1) Defining EU Labour Legislation, (2) A legal base for Armenian private employment agencies operating from Armenia within the EU, (3) The Triple Win of Circular Labour Migration (esp. for unskilled and low skilled workers).
