The Guidelines aim to support the RA NA deputies, standing and ad hoc committees, factions and the staff in the process of acquiring professional consultancy services from organizations and individuals in order to get advisory opinion on NA draft laws, international agreements, NA conclusions, decisions, statements and addresses.

This Guidebook has been developed within the framework of “Strengthening the capacity of the National Assembly in strategic political debate and communication” project. The project is implemented by the International Center for Human Development nongovernmental organization within the framework of UK’s Good Governance Fund, with support of the British people.

The translation of the Guidelines into English has been made within the UNDP “Modern Parliament for a Modern Armenia” project, co-implemented with the OxYGen Foundation, the International Center for Human Development, and the Westminster Foundation for Democracy, in cooperation with the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia. The project is funded by the United Kingdom's Good Governance Fund and the Government of Sweden.

The present public policy analysis was prepared by the International Center for Human Development in close collaboration with the Working Group set up to implement the Program to Prevent Sex-Selective Abortions. In fact, the analysis ranges among the most successful efforts in recent years in collaboration among relevant specialists, NGOs, governmental agencies, international development partners and other stakeholders overcoming the most dangerous challenges facing the public at large. The analysis report and the data, information, evidence, findings and recommendations therein will lay a solid and reliable foundation for mapping out and implementing a public policy on setting up an early childhood care and development system, introducing service models and outlining further actions to achieve enhanced women’s labor force participation and work-family reconciliation, a primary objective of combating gender-biased sex-selection.

Town Hall Meeting within ACE in Vayk

On January 30, 2024 ICHD organized the first Town Hall Meeting within ACE in Vayk consolidated community, comprising 17 rural and urban settlements, in close collaboration with the local government, "Solution Hub" NGO and their beneficiaries, active young people from the community. The results are summarized in the THM report available in Armenian only.

The goal of the “Armenia Civics for Engagement” Program is to improve the quality of Armenia’s formal and non-formal civic education to foster youth public participation and advancement of democratic processes in Armenia.
