The international conference was organized in Yerevan, Armenia
on November 18-19, 2007 by the ICHD in partnership with the Center for European Law and Integration with the support of DFID, Delegation of the European Commission to Armenia and OSCE.
The conference was attended by more than 20 foreign and 125 local
participants, representing government agencies and non-governmental
organizations, as well as a number of foreign missions in Armenia and
leading international institutions.
This publication includes the speeches made and papers presented at
the conference.
The book introduces the results of comprehensive statistical analysis of demand for tobacco products in Armenia, and tries to estimate the demand elasticity for these products.
This publication summerizes the outcomes of the project “Armenian-Turkish Track Two Diplomacy: a New Wave Based on Projects Already Accomplished”. It discusses the successes and failures of T2D projects that have been implemented between Armenia and Turkey since 2001 and suggests a list of recommendations for interested stakeholders.

A book and a booklet on cancer prevention have been produced under the umbrella of a UNFPA supported project.
In the framework of a project supported by the UNFPA, ICHD published 6 cancer prevention leaflets and booklets.
In December, 2005 the Town Hall Meeting instrument was piloted by ICHD in a small village of Sarnaghbyur in Northern Armenia This case study details out the whole process the Town Hall Meeting, as well as the follow-up activities. It describes the background of the issue and the necessity of intervention, the initial hypotheses regarding the outcomes of the intervention, the whole process of planning and implementing the project, the analyses of the results and follow-up activities.
The “EUROPEAN INTEGRATION: WAYS AND MEANS TOWARDS INTEGRATED AND PEACEFUL NEIGHBORHOOD” international conference was organized in Yerevan, Armenia on July 27-30, 2006. The conference was attended by more than 25 foreign and 75 local participants, representing government agencies and non-governmental organizations, as well as a number of foreign missions in Armenia and leading international institutions. This publication represents the speeches made and papers presented at the conference.
In 2006, with the support of the UK Embassy in Armenia, The ICHD organized a series of town hall meetings in Armenian regions to discuss the possible resolution scenarios of the Nagorno Karabagh conflict. The discussions results and the messages from the participants in these discussions have been published in this book.
On November 21-22, 2005 the International Center for Human Development organized the conference “Promotion of the OSCE Values, Principles and Commitments as a Basis for Security and Cooperation in the OSCE Area” to reiterate the principles of democracy and celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Helsinki Final Act, a founding document of the OSCE. The conference was supported by the OSCE and Council of Europe offices in Yerevan.
This publication includes the speeches made and papers presented at the conference. The reader gets an opportunity to learn of a diversity of perspectives regarding the role of the OSCE in Europe, Russia and the South Caucasus.

On March 3, 2021, the first meeting of the GreenDeal Task Force created under the Initiative Lisbon-Vladivostok was held. In the videoconference format, more than twenty authoritative experts in the field of ecology and business from Austria, Armenia, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, Russia, France, as well as the representatives of the largest business industry associations supporting the Initiative Lisbon-Vladivostok, discussed common approaches to harmonizing the activities implemented by the EU and the EAEU on the path to sustainable development, including a radical reduction in greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere by 2050.
