The goal of the project was to ensure an effective participatory process and support consolidation of outputs provided by technical contributors of each specific section of the comprehensive national decentralization strategy, a draft document meant to direct the reform process. It was intended to achieve this goal through facilitating a consensus-based work-stream of the actors, who assisted the RA Government in designing the decentralization reform under the partnership framework developed by Counterpart Armenia. This goal have been achieved through providing technical inputs in the overall framework of the strategy document; organizing discussions with the key stakeholders related to the critical aspects of the strategy, as well as elaborating a consolidated joint draft strategy document. The policy dialog is reflected in three policy brief.
On January 30, 2024 ICHD organized the first Town Hall Meeting within ACE in Vayk consolidated community, comprising 17 rural and urban settlements, in close collaboration with the local government, "Solution Hub" NGO and their beneficiaries, active young people from the community. The results are summarized in the THM report available in Armenian only.
