In the frames of AEPLAC Phase V project ICHD experts met with the youth in Gavar, Ijevan, Vanadzor and Gyumri within the 12-18 of February, 2011 period. The aim of the meetings is to plan and implement field work on identification of the information needs on EU and EU-Armenia relations among younger audience (representatives of NGOs, students, lecturers, artists etc.) in 8 cities of 6 marzes of Armenia as well as to elaborate an information gap analysis. Current Armenia-EU relations status and its prospect in the future, educational and other opportunities opened to the youth as a result to those relations, visa facilitation, community development and other issues were discussed and presented during the meetings and group discussions. A videoconferance was also organized with Alexei Sekarev -the AEPLAC Team Leader. 4 more meetings are planned to be held in March, 2011.
On January 30, 2024 ICHD organized the first Town Hall Meeting within ACE in Vayk consolidated community, comprising 17 rural and urban settlements, in close collaboration with the local government, "Solution Hub" NGO and their beneficiaries, active young people from the community.
