The International Conference “Eastern Partnership: National & European Dynamics” was held in Yerevan on November 10-11. The conference was organized by the International Center for Human Development (ICHD) with the support of the EU Delegation, Mosaic Institute and the Friedrich Ebert Foundation. It aimed at increasing the role of civil society and think tanks in decision making in Armenia. This was the seventh annual international conference on European Integration organized by ICHD in cooperation with development partners in Europe and worldwide. The annual conferences became a genuine forum for consolidating Armenia’s progress towards integration of the country with the European Union. The ցonference brought together representatives from Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine, Russia, Czech Republic, Dania, Turkey, Sweden. Key European institutions, such as the EU, OSCE and CoE were represented as well to engage in an open exchange of ideas and opinions with local and regional decision makers. The conference opened by welcome speeches and keynote addresses by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Eduard Nalbandyan, Minister of Finances Tigran Davtyan, Minister of Justice Hrayr Tovmasyan, Acting Head of the European Union Delegation to Armenia Onna SImons , Team Leader of the EU Advisory Group to Armenia Mr. Antti Hartikainen, and the ODIHR first deputy director Douglas Wake. The closing speeches were delivered by RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, and Euronest Co-Chairman Kristian Vigenin.

On March 3, 2021, the first meeting of the GreenDeal Task Force created under the Initiative Lisbon-Vladivostok was held. In the videoconference format, more than twenty authoritative experts in the field of ecology and business from Austria, Armenia, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, Russia, France, as well as the representatives of the largest business industry associations supporting the Initiative Lisbon-Vladivostok, discussed common approaches to harmonizing the activities implemented by the EU and the EAEU on the path to sustainable development, including a radical reduction in greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere by 2050.
