On June 19 ICHD invited a round table to discuss how the activities of municipal councilors could be improved. The discussion was held within the framework of the project "Supporting improvement of the activities of municipal councilors through development and introduction of sample templates of legal acts to be adopted and ratified by municipal councilors", implemented with the support of Counterpart International.

The round table brought together more than 20 representatives of various communities. The discussion focused on issues such as recommendations for revision and amendment of the statute of the municipal councilors, specifically procedures for its ratification and amendment. In addition, the participants discussed the issues of revision and monitoring  of the community budget and its four-year development plan, and procedures of discussing and ratifying the relevant reports.
