Within the Comprehensive Assessment of Youth Engagement in Decision Making (CAYEDMA), commissioned by the International Center for Human Development within the program "Armenia Civics for Engagement" (ACE), an online survey was carried out among high school students, their parents, teachers and school principals to identify their practices and perceptions of engagement in decision making at various levels: family, school, community and the national level. The report on the findings are available in Armenian only.

The Comprehensive Assessment of Youth Engagement in Decision Making (CAYEDMA) was implemented by the International Center for Human Development in 2022-23 within the program "Armenia Civics for Engagement" (ACE), with the purpose to identify the strengths, gaps, challenges and opportunities of youth engagement in decision-making. CAYEDMA aimed to examine how and to what extent Velvet Revolution of 2018, the Covid-19 pandemic in early 2020, the escalation of the conflict in Nagorno Karabakh in the fall of 2020, and the subsequent military clashes on the border of the country have affected youth aspirations and readiness to engage in decision-making processes in Armenia, how their agency and beliefs get manifested in these processes and how young people choose to engage in them. On March 3, 2021, the first meeting of the GreenDeal Task Force created under the Initiative Lisbon-Vladivostok was held. In the videoconference format, more than twenty authoritative experts in the field of ecology and business from Austria, Armenia, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, Russia, France, as well as the representatives of the largest business industry associations supporting the Initiative Lisbon-Vladivostok, discussed common approaches to harmonizing the activities implemented by the EU and the EAEU on the path to sustainable development, including a radical reduction in greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere by 2050.

The International Center for Human Development (ICHD) with the financial support of the Federal Foreign Office (Germany) and in partnership with The State Migration Service of Ministry of Territorial Administration and infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia and “Armenian Caritas” Benevolent NGO, on 15 October 2019 has implemented of local meetings in Lori region in the framework of Preventing Irregular Migration from Armenia to the Federal Republic of Germany by Raising Awareness of Potential Migrants” project. State and local self-governance bodies, service providers, media and civil society representatives participated in the event.

The International Center for Human Development (ICHD) with the financial support of the Federal Foreign Office (Germany) and in partnership with The State Migration Service of Ministry of Territorial Administration and infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia and “Armenian Caritas” Benevolent NGO, on 17 September 2019 started implementation of local meetings in Shirak region in the framework of Preventing Irregular Migration from Armenia to the Federal Republic of Germany by Raising Awareness of Potential Migrants” project. State and local self-governance bodies, service providers, media and civil society representatives participated in the event.

The aim of the meetings is informing the participants about the risks, consequences of irregular migration, forms of protection given to migrants in Germany, as well as statistics on emigration and return policy from Germany to Armenia. The process of return and readmission of RA citizens, the reintegration programs of returnees implemented in the RA are also presented to the participants during the workshop.
