2010 - 2013

The project aimed at fostering social and economic re-integration of 50-75 Armenian nationals without a legal right to reside in the Netherlands and preventing their irregular re-migration to EU member-states, through providing comprehensive assistance and advice. The project achieved this goal providing various types of assistance to returnees, such as support with employment and self-employment; education and training, medical and legal assistance. In the result of the project over 50 returnees got access to quality health services and medical aid, including medical diagnosis, treatment, medicaments. They were enabled to acquire the knowledge, skills and opportunities needed for exercising their rights and responsibilities of the citizens of the Republic of Armenia, including the rights for education, social welfare, pension security, as well as the rights and responsibilities for mandatory military/alternative service. They were given an opportunity to engage in entrepreneurial activities in order to secure a sustainable source of income to ensure a dignified life. The project ran from 2010 to 2013 with the support of Reintegration and Departure Service of the Ministry of Justice of the Netherlands.
