ICHD Executive Director Mr. Tevan Poghosyan participated in the conference: "After Kosovo Declaration of Independence and the August 2008 War: The New Geopolitics and Role of Diplomacy in the Caucasus", held at the Graduate Institute, Geneva, on May 8 and 9, 2010.

The workshop aimed at examining the influence of Kosovo declaration of independence and its recognition by leading countries, on the practice of recognition of new states, and on events in the Caucasus. It also studied international diplomatic practice for conflict resolution in the Caucasus, and what changed following the August 2008 war. The workshop was attended by leading scholars and diplomats.
