Round Table

On the 17th of September, 2013, the International Center for Human Development (ICHD) held a roundtable discussion on “Issues of Assistance to Migrants and their Families on the Agenda of Cooperation between Communities in Armenia and Europe: Constraints and Opportunities”.

 The roundtable was organized within the framework of “Strengthening Evidence-Based Management of Labor Migration in Armenia” project, which is implemented by ICHD in partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and with financial support of the EU.

During the roundtable discussion, the practices of intercommunity cooperation between twin-cities, frequent problems that Armenian migrants face in communities abroad and main practices of addressing these problems, as well as the international experience and best practices of supporting migrants through community to community cooperation were discussed.

 

Representatives of regional administrations of Armenian local communities, state institutions, NGOs and international institutions participated in the discussion.

Town Hall Meeting within ACE in Vayk

On January 30, 2024 ICHD organized the first Town Hall Meeting within ACE in Vayk consolidated community, comprising 17 rural and urban settlements, in close collaboration with the local government, "Solution Hub" NGO and their beneficiaries, active young people from the community. The results are summarized in the THM report available in Armenian only.
