Workshop on the Umbrella Information Support for Employment Agencies (ULISSES) Platform

The International Center for Human Development, in the frames of the project "Strengthening Evidence-Based Management of Labor Migration", organised a workshop on the Umbrella Information Support for Employment Agencies (ULISSES) Platform on 29th of October 2013.

During the workshop, the employees of Armenian recruitment and employment agencies and of companies providing similar services had the opportunity to get introduced to the ULISSES Platform and its practical use.

Workshop participants were the first to be handled the "ULISSES Platform User Handbook" that was elaborated along with the ULISSES platform develpment as a comprihensive guidbook leading the subscribers through the platform. The "ULISSES Platform User Handbook" is available on the website. 

The Platform enables effective matching of labour demand in EU member-states and labour supply in Armenia via facilitating credible information exchange between key actors in labour markets and substantially reducing transaction costs and ensuring confidence towards CLM process among private businesses, public institutions and societies at large.

Town Hall Meeting within ACE in Vayk

On January 30, 2024 ICHD organized the first Town Hall Meeting within ACE in Vayk consolidated community, comprising 17 rural and urban settlements, in close collaboration with the local government, "Solution Hub" NGO and their beneficiaries, active young people from the community. The results are summarized in the THM report available in Armenian only.
