In the framework of  "Strengthening local capacities for local democracy in Armenia through institutionalizing effective and equal public participation in local decision making" project ICHD organized a series of  one and three day trainings in Vanadzor city, Lori region.  The trainings took place on 11-14 of February 2014. More than 20 representatives of  local authorities,  local governance bodies, universities and regional administrations  participated in  participatory, inclusive, responsive and gender-sensitive governance, effective communication, negotiation and leadership skills  trainings.

The project is a part of "Promoting Equal Rights and Equal Opportunities in Armenia: Women in Local Democracy" three year project funded by the European Union and implemented by UNDP Armenia in partnership with Association of Women with University Education, International Center for Human Development and Armenian Public Relations Association.
